I launched #Highlight31, which is a campaign to honor individuals, organizations and businesses in the 31st District that are making a difference in their community, in hopes of highlighting contributions that would otherwise go unrecognized and hopefully inspire others in the community to follow in their footsteps. #Highlight31 also foster a sense of pride and unity in neighborhoods that too often get a bad rap.
